IEC Education of Utah is pleased to announce the availability of Continuing Education courses via an interactive conference call format. Take a continuing Education class at home, or from your desk. Participants must have internet access and be able to make a long distance phone call for 2 hours each session. (Long distance charges will apply.) You must attend both nights to receive the credit. Roll call/sign in begins 15 minutes before the session. PLEASE BE ON TIME!! - NO REFUNDS IF YOU ARE LATE, AND NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN THE CALL LATE.
Each class will be 4 hours of continuing education. You must attend all sessions of the class to receive credit. The classes will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on the session dates listed below. You can register for multiple classes. Remember the state requires at least 12 of the 16 required CE hours be code-related.
Cost: $45 per person per class. Plus Registry fees (See below)
Registry Fees: $4.00 per class if you want to be registered on the Electrician's Registry.
Plus $1.00 per hour of credit to be registered on the Contractor's Registry. Note: Contractor Registry only requires 6 hours per renewal period.

Continuing Education Registration:
In order to register for the conference call/Internet CE class, you must complete the registration form AND submit payment. Your Space is reserved only when the registration form and payment are received. Limited to the first 40. Please review the registration form before submitting form and payment. The state of Utah has implemented a registry system for tracking CE credits for your electrical license as well as your contractor license. This registry has a fee of $1 per credit hour per license type. This fee is in addition to your class fee. If you have questions please contact IEC of Utah at 801-255-3880.
The registration process has two parts:
- Complete the appropriate registration form.
- Pay your registration fee of $45 plus applicable registry fees. (this link opens a new window and takes you to a secure credit card process via paypal)
On the DAY OF THE CLASS you will receive an email with instructions and information to log in to the session OR you can come to this page on the day of the class and click on the link that will be published below
